UPDATES: WAICON 2014

Hello, Hello! Pretty much know that anyone that follows me on deviantART know how inactive and slow I reply to my messages and also how I'm not really a frequent journaler/journalist/blogger (I don't even know what do I call it) Figured since my subscription is ending in a few days I better make use of the journal feature before it does haha.

This post is EXTREMELY LATE. But yeah so, had the chance to trade at WAICON 2014 Perth with a couple of my fellow friends and newfound friends. ( which I obviously did not make a post about)

I was sharing a table with goldhedgehog . Thanks so much for sharing a table with me and sorry if I was annoying and what not. Initially I didn't want to trade. I almost backed out because I kept thinking that I wasn't good enough yet to be trading and I didn't think I would be successful but it went a lot better than I thought so I really thank God for that. But for the most part, I thank all the people and customers that came by to by my prints and also friends that made it more enjoyable and less lonely for me.

I only have pics for the first day because I forgot my camera on the 2nd day.  
And I didn't have time to take pictures of cosplayers. But to whoever that cosplayed well done. I've seen some pretty badass cosplays this year at Waicon.

Finally got to meet Lightning--Strikes very long mutual friend that I did a collab before way back when I started this account.

It was great to be able to spend time with other fellow artists. Haven't seen a bunch since a devmeet last year so it was definitely memorable. (Though we did aimlessly hunt for food like homeless people) Perth sucks for having shops that close at freaking 5pm.

Also last but not least one of the most rewarding things this con was being able to cosplay as my very first favourite character. I really had such a blast making my costume from scratch eventhough it's not super complex or anything. I learnt so much while making my costume with iiuerin. It's one of the must dos in my life that I just put off. Didn't manage to get many good photos of the cosplay but will plan to do a proper shoot for it.
